Wednesday, October 15th
Entry Deadline for Sale Cattle due to the IBCA Office

Saturday, November 1st
Entry Deadline for Junior Show due to the IBCA Office

Wednesday, December 1st
9 am – 4 pm HBC Show Office open
9 am - 4 pm Jr Show Stalls will be issued in the north foyer of the Cattle Barn
* Each exhibitor must present original receipt at the Check-in Desk.
*Each person can get stalls for three additional participants. If getting stalls for another exhibitor, please know exactly what they are bringing (number of animals and sex) and have their original receipt with you also.

3 pm Cattle allowed into barn
5 pm Sale Cattle Stalls must be Set Up

Thursday, December 2nd
8 am – 6 pm HBC Show Office open
8 am – 6 pm Continue Stalling
8 am – 6 pm BOAH will tag steers with 840 approved EID tags
12 pm All sale cattle must be stalled in designated area.
1 pm Weigh sale cattle

* Consignor is responsible for getting consignment to the scales. The Sale Committee will not be responsible for getting an animal to the scales.
3 pm Class Breaks for Sale Cattle due to Sale Committee
4 pm Team Fitting Contest Entry Deadline
5 pm ALL ENTRIES CLOSED
* Excludes cattle purchased in HBC Sales
5 pm
Showmanship Entries Due
Check your receipt.   If you have a “yes” in the Showmanship Box you are already entered.
6 pm Team Fitting Contest in the Cattle Barn Show Ring

Friday, December 3rd
8 am – 8 pm HBC Show Office open
8 am – 6 pm BOAH will tag steers with 840 approved EID tags
8:30 am Breed Managers Meeting in the Administration Building
9 am -6 pm HBC Tradeshow Open
10 am Poster & Photography Contest entries due to the Cattle Barn Office
10 am Purebred & All Star Steer & Heifer Show in the Cattle Barn Show Ring
12 pm All Show Cattle must be stalled!!!
12 pm HBC Rookie Meeting in the east sale ring
1 pm Begin weighing Junior Cattle in the Annex/Hall D
* All Purebred Steers and Commercial Heifers MUST be weighed on Friday.
* All Steers must have an 840 approved EID tag in place BEFORE coming to the scales
1 – 2:30 pm Check In Purebred Heifers in Annex/Hall D
5 pm Rookie Recognition Ceremony
6 pm Showmanship Preliminaries in the Cattle Barn Show Ring

Saturday, December 4th
7 – 8 am Junior Judging Contest Registration in the Cattle Barn North Foyer
* Please have registration form filled out prior to your arrival.
8 am – 8 pm HBC Show Office open
8 – 11:30 am Junior Judging Contest in the Cattle Barn Show Ring
8 am Weigh Crossbred Steers in the Annex/Hall D
8 am – 9 pm HBC Tradeshow Open
8 am IJBCA Silent Auction Begins in the HBC Tradeshow
9:30 am All Star Steer & Heifer Sale and Purebred Sales at south end of Cattle Barn
* The order for the Purebred Sales will be determined after check in.
11:30 am Showmanship Semi-Finals and Finals in the Cattle Barn Show Ring
1:30 pm Junior Judging Contest Results Announced
2 - 9 pm Junior Show

Sunday, December 5th

7 am HBC Church Service in the Cattle Barn Show Ring
7:30 am IJBCA Contest Winners Announced
8 am – 4 pm HBC Show Office open
8 am – 4 pm Junior Show Continues
8 am – 4 pm HBC Tradeshow Open
1:30 pm IJBCA Silent Auction Ends
